The meeting went well, entries could have been better with only 26 shooting the short range day and seventeen shooting long range. TRF were represented by two competitors on Saturday and three on the Sunday.

We need to try and increase these numbers for next year, those who stayed at home missed a good weekend of shooting. Weather was dry, warm most of the time, and with an interesting wind sufficient to keep the competitors on their toes! Target system worked perfectly over both days with only one error recorded, easily accounted for, by a shot through the wood! Dollar Academy were represented by five pupils who all shot well, Lucas Parkins had top score with 244.23 and Olivia Hutt top score for the girls with 237.14. The grand aggregate was won by Mike Barlow with a score of 439.52, three Vee bulls ahead of Keith Pugh. only one point separated the top four scores. Thanks are due to Tim Kidner for compiling the stats over the weekend.

The "Loo with a View" gained a five star rating on Saturday from the Dunfermline Ramblers Walking Group. When shooting from 600, we noticed an orderly queue formed at the top of the steps. At close down we found a thank you note, see photos. We assume that the five star rating was more a measure of their need rather than the luxury of our cludgie!
