8th September 2019
8 TR, 2 TR/F, 1 FTR Club Class and 1 F Class enjoyed a dry day, which started off with low mist, clearing to a partly sunny day. A light right wind and the occasional momentary fade and change to a left wind allowed for generally high scoring at all distances.
Tim Kidner won the Murray Cup 7 V Bulls ahead of Kenny MacDonald, both with 221. John Potter also scored 221 and won the Smith Tankard for the aggregate of the highest score today and at the Tullibardine 2 weeks ago. Paul Crosbie was first in FTR F/Class. The FTR Club Class trophy was won by Eddie Rodgers and the F Open trophy by Alan Manson. The Murray Cup commences at 900 yds going forward to 600 and 500 yds and is the only club competition at both long and short range in the same day.
Thanks go to all who attended and to those assisted with the armoury run, set up, range officer duty, changeover and close down.
